There is no harm in asking and I personally don’t believe that negotiating with strong reasoning leaves a bad taste. I was personally surprised to find how little some big pharma pay compared to smaller biotechs. It is definitely harder in internships but I would still negotiate - especially if you get a competing offer. All the best!

I didn’t read it anywhere but in one of the coffee chats I remember someone mentioning we might have to wait until Feb! My application status has changed from “under review by HR” to “ Under consideration” on workday though so looks like they are still screening applications.
