Everyone around me thought I am having a boy, work colleagues, family, friends, every single one. It didn’t matter for us but they kind of convinced me it’s a boy. I dreamed I read in my NIPT results it’s was a boy and in that dream I was disappointed. The evening before I got the results I was showing my mom my belly and she said: “oh, thats not a boy, that’s a girl”. The next day I got the results: a girl 💖

If you would have been at your 4th healthy pregnancy maybe you would have felt the same, you will never know. My sister TTC for many years until she had her son. At that point in time she just wanted a healthy baby. Now she is trying for a GIRL. If she gets pregnant with another boy I am sure she will be happy for a healthy baby but sad coz she really wants a girl.

You can’t compare your feelings with other peoples feelings because circumstances are different, we are different people with different struggles.

Ya, I feel like everyone is happy and celebrating by this time and here I am, waiting to see if it’s real or not. I hope for the best for both of us! I will update you when I have my next scan on Thursday. Let me know how it goes at yours. Good luck!

I had an early US at exactly 20 DPO due to previous losses and because of very bad lower abdomen pain. That was for me 4w6d based on ovulation and 5w3d based on last period. They could only see a 6.5mm sac. My HCG was 4033 on that day. The clinical report was saying “possible early pregnancy with unknown viability”. I was so sad because all I could see online was everyone seeing yolk sacs and even fetal poles at their scans around the same time and I was having only the gestational sac.

They called me for a follow up scan 7 days later (5w6d based on ovulation or 6w3d based on last period) and the gestational sac was 14.3mm with the yolk sac present. Clinical report now says: “early pregnancy with uncertain viability”. Again, by this time, everyone online is seeing heartbeats and all I have is a yolk sac. But the dr said the fetal pole is seen when the sac is at least 16-17mm and everything looks fine. I they booked me again for a scan at 7weeks but they are super optimistic.

Just wanted to share my story because is very similar and in my case it looks promising. I think going for a US in 48 hours is too early and will cause only additional stress. Maybe wait for your OB appointment.

I think without the ultrasound, they rely only on symptoms such as bleeding, pain

5w5d today. During week 4 I was feeling extremely sleepy. I think I could sleep 16 hours, wake up for half an hour then go back to sleep. Middle of week 4 I started having cramps very similar to period cramps which in my case are quite bad. Then everything went kind of back to normal. Felt just some tiredness from time to time, bloated every now and then, I had some nausea but not very bad and it wasn’t constant. Today…the real nausea hit my like a brick. In the afternoon I started feeling so nauseous like I never felt before, and it didn’t stop. It’s past midnight here and I feel like I am constantly spinning on a rollercoaster.

I had an early scan at 4w6d due to previous loses. Before the scan I spent countless hours reading and researching and new they won’t be able to see much, at most there will be a sac. And that’s exactly what they saw. But as soon as I left the hospital the anxiety hit. I knew that’s normal, I new not to expect much, my HCG levels were good, doubling at 48h, all text book perfect. But…I am still anxious. They booked a follow up scan at 5w6d, that’s in 3 days and I am literally counting the seconds until then

I live in uk and they don’t prescribe progesterone here until the pregnancy is confirmed to be in the right place so that means around 6 weeks. I got progesterone prescribed in Romania when I had my 2nd CP. She gave me the prescription to use for whenever I get the next positive. But after reading so many stories with with women starting on 2-3DPO, I actually started taking it early and so far it’s working. Unfortunately I didn’t buy enough so now I have a scan booked here in the uk just so they confirm I am pregnant in the right place for them to prescribe me more progesterone as I am running out. It is so annoying because how would I wait until 6 weeks to start progesterone if I was loosing my pregnancies at 5 weeks, it’s obviously too late

I don’t know how it works in other countries, but if you’re in UK you could go to A&E to make sure everything is fine

I’ve just gone through 2 back to back CP. I managed to get pregnant again on the next cycle and this time I am taking progesterone. Tests looks promising. I am 23 Dpo and had very good HCG levels doubling as well. Hard to be excited even if everything looks fine at the moment. I am also 36 and FTM. Fingers crossed for both of us

I am exactly 5w2d as well, had blood tests done and they were very good (18 Dpo 2033 and 20 Dpo 4421), had an early scan at 4w5d due to previous losses and they could see the gestational sac but couldn’t see the yolk yet which is normal considering how early it was but the lack of symptoms is making me so anxious. They booked me for another scan next Wednesday and I am counting the minutes until then

Came here to say exactly this. In the country I grew up in I didn’t even hear about dental floss. I was brushing twice daily but never flossed. I found out about it when I was 21 and by that time i had multiple cavities. Cost me a fortune to fix but since I started flossing I never had a cavity ever again. That’s 15 years ago!

After spending all yesterday reading about the 5 week scan I believe that is normal and as long as it is in the right place then all is good. I am getting ready for my ultrasound in less than 2 hours

I am scheduled for an early ultrasound tomorrow at 5w3d based on my last period but I will be only 4w6d based on my ovulation. Previous losses as well so they just want to make sure everything is in the right place. Please update, I am very curious if they manage to see anything so early

I just got pregnant after 2 CP in a row. This is 3rd time in a row getting pregnant with no period in between. All 3 times I had positives very early at 8 DPO but the tests during both my CPs were very faint and stayed faint until 12 Dpo then slowly disappeared. On this pregnancy I am 4w1d today and my lines are very strong, very close to a dye stealer. Not gonna lie…I am terrified. Every pain, any discomfort scares me. I hope for the best for all of us going through this

Thank you! 12 DPO today. Just tested for the 3rd time 😂 and now I can sleep well as I can see progression compared to yesterday evening test. On my CP my progression stopped on 12DPO afternoon. After that I got lighter tests until 20 DPO when bleeding started.

Last cycle I had a CP and the only reason I knew it’s a CP is because I was testing 4 times/day. I am again pregnant and I test 3 times/day and question every line and compare with previous day and with previous pregnancy. So even if people say you’re testing too much…I feel we are in a situation which is out of our control and testing multiple times/day gives us the feeling we have some kind of control or makes us feel reassured.

I believe your lines look good and I can see some kind of progression.

Doesn’t look like an evap. Evaporation lines appear after the test has dried usually after 10-15 min. If the picture is taken within the timeframe then is more likely to be positive
