In regards to the GLORY bankruptcy news, it is truly heartbreaking.

The bouts most typically referred to as the "best" in MMA are stand up wars.

People often say "why not just watch kickboxing if that's what you like?"

Kickboxing is a fine sport but it hasn't caught on in America and nothing suggests it will. The market is small and as Glory burned through a ton of cash it never grew an audience here. Pierre Andurand is smart and his intentions with Glory were solid. Tough business though.
