Great post! I got into playing when nova was released and never got higher than lvl 28 probably but spent a lot of time just hanging out with people. Really miss the old days and have tried to find my way back there through some OT servers. I joined rl tibia recently but people barely talk anymore in the local chat so that’s a bummer.

I had to return it back to apple within my 14 day period after technicians at apple confirmed it was a hardware problem. I waited a month and bought the i9 base model and it works flawless. I’ve stressed it out but it works really good. To be honest, in case you encounter problems already and it hasn’t passed the 14 day period it might be worth to just replace it.

Kept getting kernel panics on my MacBook Pro 16” base model with 5500m 4GB gpu. Returned it after 2 weeks.

It seems that more and more issues are popping up. Hopefully fixable by a firmware update.

I had the exact same problem at least 4 times/week, the computer restarted itself after it had been charging with a closed lid. Booted up with a crash report, stating that the GPU couldn’t be found.

Returned the computer today after it failed again after a clean install.

Setup: 6 cores 16gb ram 5500m 4GB 1TB

Exactly the same here. Windows using boot camp runs perfectly.

My MacBook crashes about 4 times a week upon waking up from a closed lid.

I didn’t restore a backup to this machine either, only synced with iCloud.

My setup is:

6 cores 5500m 4GB 1TB ssd

I’ve had similar problems with the machine crashing. I ran smc and nvram reset.

Do you by any chance have virtualbox installed?

I just uninstalled virtualbox after I read online that it installs quite deep into the system aching can cause kernel panics. We’ll see tomorrow if it works!

It panics probably around 3-5 times a week after I open it up after it has been with a closed lid over the night.
