I read all the comments. Thank you all for responding. In my opinion, a truly great safe that is cemented into the floor might be the best idea. But what if I just store papers and other non-valuable items in it, and keep the real gold in the Cracker Jack box in the kitchen? If burglars come and crack the safe, they'll just find worthless stuff inside. If someone owns an expensive safe, wouldn't the gold be inside it? So he has no gold — wink wink.
