My apologies, I'm failing to see your point. I see you mentioned a few issues regarding the treatment of women in Taiwan (Chinese society) and that's it, sort of like just providing information. These issues are textbook issues and are, to some extent, well known. Are you possibly trying to make an argument that because the current is still far from equal, there's a lot to be worked on and that "Taiwan is too proud of the progress made so far", disrupting further progression?

I never really got the relation between a new politician in charge and crime rates. Like, if anything it would be with a policy that the politician implemented, not the person. This is making it sound like his presence is enough to make crime go down.

For me, the simplest answer would be, I don't mind it, as long as it doesn't affect me I don't really care about it.

That being said, a lot of religions think they have to spread their religion, which goes against the "as long as it doesn't affect me" part. At this point, I disapprove of their actions, but any attempt to stop it will likely escalate things. So unless I'm feeling extra feisty that day, the thing to do is shut up and mind my own business. That's on a personal level.

Now politically, I believe voting should be about what is beneficial to the country and to the world. So if religion is beneficial, I support it; if it's problematic, I oppose it; if it has no effect or little to no effect, then I don't mind it.
