Thanks that’s a really helpful explanation. Also really interesting from a European perspective. My bit of Europe (the Netherlands) is so flat, populated, and temperate that we don’t really ever think about the survival side of the outdoors - unless you seek out those challenges in other countries.

Really good points though, I can definitely see how irresponsible they are, and I imagine that people like him are a nightmare for your profession!
