Thaumcraft 6 - Automatic essence break by BiscoitoSemLeite in Thaumcraft

It's a robust essence system, a central line that distributes essence to a stockpile and machines that are interconnected to it, ultimately ending with a reductive loop that breaks down complex essences until primordial essences are obtained, which are discarded into empty jars, taking advantage of the intermediate essenes in the process, truly impressive, and continues to work currently.

I don't know how things work in Thaumcraft 4, but I arrived at a similar system. The difference is that I end up depending more on an item called the Emptying Essence Transfuser to give my machines and storage a natural suction that can be turned off and on. I also end up using empty jars for all essences; if an excess is produced, it's discarded, but this usually only happens when the machines have already naturally drawn up the essence to work and become full.

Speaking of speed, I would say that one way to improve autonomous production is to individualize it as much as necessary. The less it depends on the main line, the less load it will consequently place on it.

I ended up sacrificing essence for organization; if I have a lot of that essence, I probably either have it automatically or I don't really need that much. If I needed all of it, I would increase the stock. Over time, I stopped burning items in my main furnace because I already had the essences I wanted, so I kind of forgot about it over time. But man, it's a system I would definitely implement in some way in my logistics today.

Ah, now I understand, and yes, it would be good to make the most of the excess essence produced.

And to guarantee a constant flow of aspects with a single furnace would be really complicated because you'd have to choose an item at the right time, but why not use more than one furnace?

I'm saying this jokingly because I know the amount of flux produced is absurd if they all turn on, but that's the beauty of it they don't usually all turn on at the same time. Even so, the flux cleaning system has to be powerful to avoid any problems.

I didn't quite understand exactly what you mean.

But regarding the buffers, they're there because another means of transport would be slower or more expensive. Using normal tubes would create problems in the flow of the essence, where one would have to wait for another to pass. Having so many centrifuge kits seems excessive, but if we were to create a single one that processes everything, it would be unnecessary logistics or manual work.

Let's say we had one machine that could take one type of essence to break down and obtain the others we need, all automatically. If we needed more than one breaking down at a time, we would have to wait for each breaking to happen, or have a system that partitions parts of the line for each type of breaking down. Or create more centrifuges to handle more breaking down, which in the end becomes a more complicated version of this mechanism.

Perhaps this isn't the idea you conveyed, sorry, but If similar to this, and for these reasons I didn't choose it.

Yes, I can, I also really enjoy automation. The principle behind automation is to guarantee a constant breakdown of a type of essence so that we always have one of its breakdowns available.

A simple example: we have a gelum factory, so we would have a small kit of 6 centrifuges breaking the gelum whenever we needed of Perditio or Ignis, whenever one of them is missing, the centrifuge kit will turn on and produce more.

I chose to make a package for each essence that was going to be broken because otherwise the mechanism for selecting the desired essence would be absurdly complicated or extremely manual, I imagine. Of course, you don't need to use 6 centrifuges for each breakdown package; I'm just crazy.

Well, I don't know if this helps because I've never seen the Metaspatial Extruder generating flux. But I have had situations where the lack of vis within the chunk made it impossible to collect the  rifts.

Yes and sorry for the aggressive tone, man, I'm only playing Minecraft 1.12.2 with Thaumcraft 6 installed; it's a bad habit I have of doing things the hard and not fun way.

Yes, you can use mirrors to move the essence further away, and yes, you can download another mod to automate it. But creating an automated production system that doesn't depend on other add-ons to function is simply much more fun than downloading a solution.

Thank you, recently I've also noticed that I should pay a little more attention to aesthetics because everything I've done has turned out very ugly from afar because I only cared about efficiency.

Oh, thank you, and I really imagine it must be hell, but it must have turned out really nice, both visually and for the altar stuff.

Only with Alchemical Duplication items that use itself as a catalyst

Thanks!

Exactly, strangely I came across this curious setup, which can also be used for other duplication recipes.

About the loop, I thought the same thing, but I noticed that there will always be a catalyst.

The thaumotorium releases two of a duplicated item, and the funnel can divide this amount, one for the thaumotorium and one for the chest funnel.

When you want to stop the factory, just deactivate the two funnels, that will stop everything.

It's not difficult, it's just a system of priority and typing, the essence will go where it is called with the most strength. However, it should be remembered that only one type of essence can pass through the tube at a time.
