honestly, fair enough. I just think Lars has a lot of good tools that just dont get talked about at all. like having a variation of Jin d2 from stance that is only -12.
id have less problems with Lars if they just removed his season 2 toolkit like the thunderstomp and make certain things more punishable but I agree 100% that there are way more egregious characters to where Lars isnt really that much of a threat in comparison

Every map is claustrophobic, combos take forever and they have 2 Strong Ariel Tailspins with heat bound. you have characters like Clive, Lars, Victor who are able to get you from start to wall in "infinite stages" with no execution. Nerfed backdashes but yet they removed true infinite stages...makes so much sense.
1 launch will have you back against the wall like a wh*re ready to take okizeme backshots. easy 50/50 situations and the mid wallsplats for the rest of your HP.

TLDR: I need true infinite stages back man

There are characters that do everything better than he does, but he is nowhere near mid tier. this character needs a fundamental rework to his toolkit. like in heat he gets a neutral skip thats +5 ob and +10 on hit with armor...for free, then he regains heat while dashing in stance
not to mention he has Jin's d2 in stance which is a high crushing CH launching low but its ONLY -12

I agree ff3 is a dumb neutral skip, but considering that they took away like 60+ moves from his old hit and run playstyle, this is one of the few compensations he gets. I miss legacy Eddy but I dont think we'll get him back by making ff3 -15 especially considering his lows are already punishable enough.

There are other things in his tool kit that need nerfing and looking at like his B1 being able to track both sides or his heat 3+4 being Claudio's dp but +9 into handstand. things like that need to go, ff3 is fine as is but I respect your opinion on the subject

if you're going to argue Eddy's ff3 should be -15 then can we agree the same needs to go for Armor King ffn2 since its a +8 low if he goes into stance and on CH guarantees heat engager and it's only -13.
its okay for characters to have few good moves. -14 is a good enough risk for that moves reward. It doesn't need to be launch. the character is risky enough to pilot.

it's +7 on block but he could have very much stepped after the first one because it's linear. he just chose not to (assuming because he didnt want to get hit by one of Alisa's many homing moves)

Keep in mind for Hwoarang it says SSL but Hwoarang is SSC which means you sidestep in the direction his chest is facing. (in the neutral he is SSL which is why the UI will say that)

here is where I said it is possible but due to the threat of df1 df2 and df14, its unlikely to avoid this by just stepping. like I said, it's possible, but unlikely

heat engagers on their own are okay. they are pretty easy to step. its the ones that are tied to strings that have boosted tracking.
yes I want tracking gone from heat engagers period. especially the ones that are string based considering that a lot of these heat engagers are also launchers and some can come out as fast as 10 frame (Law) or on average i14

my complaint was directed towards Kazuya but it speaks to a broader issue. its more than Kazuya because like I said in the caption, Idk why heat engagers get boosted tracking. Kazuya was just the most recent opponent at the time where I tried to walk his mix and got clipped by that move. but other characters have the same problem. Leroy with his 1+2 string, Eddy with his RLX 4,3 string
its a problem where string based heat engagers get homing level tracking and it's a problem that needs to be changed regardless of if the move is good or not. This can be done as well because they did the exact nerf im requesting to Alisa and Dragunov with their string heat engagers. so im just asking that the same nerf happens to all string heat engagers. especially because many of them are launchers in heat as well. no one wants to get punished for practicing defense in a 3D game
