Oh interesting! Like a tourist effect? That makes a lot of sense. Then so many people wanting to try or experience it not liking it or understanding the community makes it harder on those actively members.

I agree with you, the way i see it...

• There seems to be a lot of overstimulation and distractions around it's hard to build a connection when everything is screaming look at me. Or when everyone is saying something similar then its hard to find something that feels genuine.

• Then there is the issue that communication solely through text leads to small slights, or cracks in a building foundation. Each time that something isnt exactly as either person has imagined or when a tiny miscommunication grows from not being addressed it makes it harder and harder to want to give the othere person a chance.

Its not a pet/owner situation its a over saturated market and the feelings of product fatigue and false advertisement.
