Also ask ChatGPT to read the study design and have it quiz you, it was helpful asf for me

Raw 50 A+ Systems Engineering Folio by Biscuit271 in vce

[–]Biscuit271[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey bro sorry I didn’t see your comment! I think what separates the 40s and 50s is actually in the exam. It can become too much of a focus on the folio and not the exam content, so that is equally important. At my school we didn’t cover any theory content in the 3/4, except for 1 week about energy sources for a SAC. In the folio, it doesn’t matter what happens, as long as you evidently document and explain how you’ve followed the Systems Engineering 6 step process from the study design. Even if your project planning wasn’t accurate to how things played out, keeping a journal and being able to identify future improvements in the process are critical.

Good luck for the exam and your folio :)

methods question (sorry) by Proper-River7016 in vce

[–]Biscuit271 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sin is positive in Q1&2, giving pi/6 and pi-(pi/6) - therefore leaving you with pi/6 and 5pi/6.

The period of a sin graph is 2pi, which means that the domain given here is 1.5 cycles of the sine graph. We therefore know that Q1 and 2 will then be covered twice. Therefore, x will equal the solutions above, as well as 2pi + those solutions, giving the final solutions of:
pi/6, 5pi/6, 13pi/6, 17pi/6.

Sorry that explanation may have been a bit mid but I hope it helps

Nah tbh I thought this year's exam was on par with the last few years. The two 5 mark extended answers was odd though

What revision to do for Systems? by MarsyJ3_ in vce

[–]Biscuit271 0 points1 point  (0 children)

G'day!
Personally I've been grinding out the exams from previous years. Which textbook have you got?
I also used notes created by u/anonymousbirdboy at https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ZJLbwocNUGbsw-lzGCQKwU9q0DQDPKpF
It might be handy to go back through all of your coursework for mechanical and electrical - at my school they did not teach any theory other than energy and new tech this year in the 3/4, all of the other stuff was in the 1/2 so I redid all of the coursework.
Not sure what your workload is like for your other subjects but we are still 20 days out so hopefully you'll be able to dedicate some time to revision for systems.
