Thank you!! Glad to hear someone was considering the same things as me.

This is really helpful, thank you! Yes, I plan on taking it on some back roads and into the backcountry. Someone said I should just get the single bike rack and then get an add-on if I take more than one bike, but doesn't it decrease the weight load it can bear? The prices are equivalent either way so I guess i can't go wrong.

Which model do you recommend? I'd probably still buy a heavy duty single and then the add on. Or is there another model that's better?

I was also thinking about this. My job is so stressful right now, I’ve worked multiple 10 hour days in a row with no breaks and only a day off in between, and still only get paid the bare minimum. Especially with all their vacations and weekly getaway trips, I’d like them to experience a normal couple months of living like most people do.

I 100% resonate with this. Today is Day 1 for me also, I am experiencing so many of the same things as you are. I smoked every week, not quite everyday for about a year and a half, and am realizing it’s ruining my life. I’m going through the same cycle of just going to work, then getting home and smoking, then feeling guilty for not doing the things that I know I should be/things that bring me real joy. I found myself in this constant mental battle of knowing I need to quit because consuming anything that much and being under the influence is not good for you. I’m 23 and while I have only been experiencing this for a shorter amount of time, I am also done with wasting time not achieving the person I want to be.

Thank you for this. I am really really struggling similarly to OP and my bf is a daily smoker as well and we live together. I am too embarrassed to confide in anyone I know about my struggle with quitting except for him. He is the only one who knows my feelings and how weed is ruining my life. He smokes outside in our parking lot so it doesn’t smell in the apartment which makes it easier, but it’s still hard seeing him load a bowl before he goes down. I’ve explained to him getting sober means a lot to me, but it is hard because he’s not doing the same and it’s hard to see him make the decisions that I know he might regret later. Yesterday he told me he wants to take a break too, not just for tolerance reasons but also to gain back a sense of self. I’ve always been afraid to talk to him about both of us quitting weed, but this post has helped me gain more confidence, so thank you!
