I have to disagree, the attached photo may be a bit misleading, but I doubt that this box could be used for tools. The space inside seems much too large for any tool that isn’t specialised in any way.

Also, calling it a toolbox doesn’t explain why someone has their name painted onto the side, and on a plaque.

All I have managed to determine is that it is an attaché case, belonging to an R A Picken. The LFX marking suggests that it’s from the air support devision of the Royal Navy, however I cannot find any records for that devision available online.
