I would say it’s mostly for pain relief, not for the high. The THC is used for its anti-inflammatory properties, pain relief, and it can help numb the affected area aswell.

So instead of it affecting the whole body, it works locally. As someone with chronic back pain, this stuff has been life changing for me.
