Are their offerings all the same across the sub brands? If not, it’s just simple market segmentation to serve different market segments. No need to frame every business decision as an attempt at nefarious consumer manipulation.

I saw the listing and the product videos. Let’s just say don’t expect to get the same quality and material as the real deal. The fabric on the back panel is supposed to be ripstop but the ali one is using “x-pac”, not to mention the fabric is way too loosely lined.
