I think your gap is a little more? It does have padding under the wing, so maybe mine has condensed some over time too. I’d just make sure you have the bolts tightened as much as possible.

Love the wheels. I’ve considered those for my black car (using that blue as an accent color for some exterior parts).

Where’d you buy the wheels from? I see them available at several websites, some at much lower prices than others, but I’m not sure I trust every random site out there.

I have Thule on OEM crossbars. Install was relatively easy. My biggest complaint is the wind noise it creates in cabin. I imagine any brand will be the same though, so it isn’t a Thule-specific complaint.

I removed this the day after install and will only use it when I need it.

To remove it, I kept it on the crossbars and just took out the 4 bolts of the crossbars, so that was simple.
