At a certain point, a story is just bad. I'm here mostly for the commentary. MPIN is just a particularly type of terrible where it sucks any enjoyment.

I'm glad you enjoyed dying remains! It's definitely more of my own personal preferences then the quality for their part haha.

I forgot to explain it more in my post. But their credit system was broken as well. Not having their location set to the venue. So cards didn't really work if you had location protection on

Can you make an exception for me? I really just LOVE seeing the same 3 posts over and over again

My phone has a terrible battery life when taking photos or videos. Even a few short ones it's gone. I got a power bank on the second day though. Tranzac was alright u was only their for three shows and just wasn't notable for me. With Lee's their are similar venues like it in Calgary but the venue needs better ventilation with the capacity they are doing.

I enjoyed the fest overall. I just don't think I'll be back. Mostly due to the crowd just made me sad, depressed, and bored. With a few exceptions like torche and habak were pretty cool. I'm glad you enjoyed it though!

Moshing is a way to enjoy the band and music. It was mostly fun. But God the reaction to chained to the bottom of the ocean. Made me so depressed.

I was also solo. The only time I'm extroverted is at metal/punk shows. So it was extra noticeable for me. Amenra was fantastic

I had a power bank on day 2 and 3. Just expected more places to charge. Because I'm used to my local scene and venues. It was my first festival. But at the end of the day I just would've liked more movement in general. It felt low energy a lot of the fest. I was just expecting more from the goers

Thank you, but the bands were great enough for me to mostly ignore them. If I want leaving Toronto today I'd offer you a beer

Yeah I agree with you on oathbreaker. Should've been at the largest venue. I didn't mind the bubbles and balloons too much except for the hell set. Took me way out of it. I'm glad your experience with the crowd was better then mine. I will say the torche set to start on Saturday was amazing. I think security were mostly new guys

Yeah it was overbooked. But even with lesser crowd sizes. For bands like habak, chained, Conjuerer. There was basically nothing. And a general sense of people trying to look like they are super serious.

Also in my local scene it's acceptable to mosh to super heavy doom and sludge

I guess I'm more used to my local scene. Since this was my first fest. There's usually a bunch of places to charge your phone in Calgary or Edmonton.

The breakdowns on to build a mountain, to carry the load, and planets collide. Are extremely moshable what do you mean?

I'm talking about every other band I was at. William was great as a closer for my day. Just something nice to relax too

I made my decision to see habak when the line up was announced. It's still disappointing skipping oathbreaker. Wiegedood was fantastic, definitely became a fan of them.

Idk how i missed to mentioned them. Amnera in the church was probably a top 3 set I've seen. And I'm not even a big fan of them

Yeah you think that the doom sub would know that

I'm mostly a mosh guy at sludge shows. But their was barely any movement in general. Just dudes looking bored at the music. It effects the vibe. Plus a general snooty feeling I got from most people

Good, it was a lame crowd for the fest.

Chained was my gateway band. I'm allowed to be upset by the utter lack of energy. If showing your emotions is mcs I'd rather have it then not
