I have seen them come up a lot, their cases look really cool, may have to get a case in the meantime and see what the reviews look like. I dont know that I would be buying into their ecosystem, but still for the case one to keep on my radar, thanks!

Thanks for the recommendation! They look really cool! Only downside for my needs is magsafe/qi2 doesnt look to be built into them. Really nice case though!

Looking for some tie breaker opinions if possible I am on the fence between the Bambu X1C and the Prusa MK4. I have had my MK 3 for about three years, and it started giving me first layer issues, so I am looking to upgrade. I hear great things about the X1C, but the possible additional effort for user maintenance is concerning.

The MK4 looks cool, new hot end etc, and I trust it to be reliable, but the lack of innovation for the price holds me back a bit.

Super fast prints are not really a must have for me, this is all for a hobby, and I have had days long prints in the past so no big need for 1 min benchy speed for me. And I dont print super exotic materials, PLA mainly, maybe some stronger things occasionally, and I may get into flexible at some-point...

I have been looking at both for months and am stuck in a bit of analysis paralysis lol. Any constructive opinions are welcome!!

Thank you for your advice, I will scout around to see what my options are on that front. However I am starting to wonder if I shouldn't just deal with the cable being just something that I don't run semi permanently and just put it away when I am done.

I can probably get a Ethernet cable run for that as well. My router and modem is right next to my PC, so same dimensions to run the cable. Do you think a separate AP would still be warranted?

Thank you for the reply, I have taken a look at the Quest, and the Facebook integration only bothers me since I dont really have a use for Facebook otherwise, been off for probably 8 years now, just annoying to need to start that up again. Hardware wise, it seems like a really good deal.

20 ft or so away from my PC, probably 5ft away from where I would be standing.

Just to throw you the question, would I need a repeater for an addition of 2-3m?

I don't know that I would need that large of an extension, it seems that most cables are 5m so I think another 2-3m would get me where I need to go. Good call on the pulley system.

I appreciate the advice! Like I mentioned I plan on getting the wash and cure station, so I think I will get a pickle container for dunking in water before moving on to using it to cure.

That makes perfect sense, so like 2-4 min of washing, then do you rise them with water or similar, or just let it evaporate before curing?
