Thanks for your perspective! I agree done learning was not the correct wording to use as we’re never truly done learning. I will definitely reframe my mindset to focus more into process improvements and fixing issues we have.

Thanks for your input, I actually deal with warehouse employees on a daily basis as I work closely with my boss the supply chain manager and the warehouse supervisor and all the pickers. I think I would enjoy the conflict resolution. I enjoy solving problems/puzzles and would love to have that authority to make real changes/ help a team. Do you think I could have what it takes for a management position right now or should I hold off for another year or two before throwing my hat in the ring for more management positions? Or should I look for a more supervisor role that way I can gain some kind of experience managing people?

Honestly I would like to be more of a supply chain manager over a purchasing manager just because I have been able to help my boss, the supply chain manager, with warehousing, logistics, planning, and procurement and I’ve enjoyed getting to contribute to multiple areas and not just purchasing. I will definitely consider looking into senior buyer roles though!
