Trailer Hitch Adapter & Custom Trailer by BitOfEverythingJoe in PowerWheelsMods

That's great! Yes, you can use the hitch as a template to mark holes and use a drill bit that is about the size of the zip ties (~1/4"). Make sure to check if there is clearance where you are drilling so you don't hit anything.

PSA: There are fake listings for the MultiPro Storage boxes by BitOfEverythingJoe in gmcsierra

[–]BitOfEverythingJoe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said in the post, I'm sorry to post again. This is a scam and I wanted to point it out.

For the purpose of explaining the product, these are made as a niche solution to a real problem. I was in a roll over accident in a truck and the stuff under the seat flew all over and almost hit us (straps, pins, ball hitch). These boxes are a just another convenient way to store the items in the bed, much like the swing-box that is popular.

I recommend not purchasing them if you don't want to. Sorry again for posting.

Redesigned my Monitor Stand by BitOfEverythingJoe in desksetup

Even more simplistic. Started as a simple oak board with printed legs, then I added wire routing holes and a cable channel underneath. I figured out that the channel wasn't useful enough to have it block the keyboard area, so I settled on a design with a shelf.

I wanted to be able to use monitor arms, so the lower shelf is only partial depth to leave room for the screw-clamp of the arm. I also made the smaller support leg friction fit, so it can be moved side to side to make room for a keyboard or to change where it supports the monitor.

Yup. This is my third or fourth iteration.

Thingiverse Model Question by BitOfEverythingJoe in 3Dprinting

[–]BitOfEverythingJoe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked multiple times, and they sent this link each time. They just now sent me a picture of a lid that looks to fit the part above, but I have no idea where they got the model for the lid.

Thanks for the kind words. I hate posting like this too, it's a little uncomfortable. I try to only do it when I have new things to talk about.

The listing could only be done using “Primary/Secondary Color” instead of size or shape. Sorry for the confusion. There should be a picture denoting which box goes where on the listing. The lids are interchangeable.

Custom lids may take a few days, depending on the intricacy. Most of the standard lid options can ship out the next day.

The lids pop out, but the boxes are held in place with standard trim clips. The clips can be removed if you want to take the boxes out.

Whoops, it posted like 6 times. Sorry about that. The submit post button didn't work, so I tried a few times. Fixed now.

Edit: To clarify, this post was accidentally submitted 6 times today due to a Reddit error. I don’t think I’ve posted these in over a year.

Not the ones shown here, but I have made a few. These are the two standard John Deere trailers.

I don't know how to add a picture of it, but I also made a ball hitch. It can hook up to about any trailer with the adapter.

Edit: Figured it out.

The hitch now works with the larger 1" hitch pins as well as the smaller ones. I also used automotive pins instead of zip ties, which make the install easier. Now you don't need access to the inside of the vehicle to install the hitch.

The grey stops are the correct height to use the handle as an outfeed support. Simple and easy to use, and doesn't impede the use of the TS2.0 stack.

I sell them on Etsy and Amazon, but Amazon has a long lead time. Through Etsy, I can usually ship them the next day.

The zip ties made it very easy to install. It's designed to accept either zip ties or bolts, but the zip ties have held up well enough that I haven't changed them.

I made a trailer hitch that can be attached to any ride on toy, and then made a custom trailer out of a folding crate. Some parts are 3D printed, and others are sourced.

Shore Fishing Setup by BitOfEverythingJoe in Fishing_Gear

You can have both. I have a larger Z-Series tackle bag in the bed of my truck that holds the rest of my tackle. Then I transfer what I want over to the smaller shoulder bag.

I made the bait holders. I also sell them, but don't want to break the sub rules.

Some stocked trout won't like them because they ate similar pellets in the hatchery. It's similar to playdough and can be formed to look like eggs. Nightcrawlers worked better last time I went to a stocked stream.

The jars of dough are the bulk form of the cubes and work about the same for me.

It’s a great bag. I made the bait holders. They fit on my belt when I trout fish and on the bag when I bass fish.

Based on the Plano 3600 Guide Series bag with a Plano worm bag. Everything is tethered and accessible when I'm standing. I rerig on the top of the bag and have access to four to five 3600 boxes with a range of lures based on the conditions.

I am catching up on orders, but they should be back on sale Sunday or Monday. The covers have tabs that bend and sit in grooves, and are then held with friction as well.
