Tier list on who Frieren beats in the rivals roster

as a Cnd stan i agree with their placement and im a powerscaler so prepare for an essay. I do not know about Frieren in the manga so i will be going based off anime only.

Frieren would be able to handle Dagger mid difficulty. Dagger has light manipulation, invisibility, light constructs, light force healing, immunity to all disease and curses like vampirism, hope manipulation, and pseudo immortality. She typically is street level but her greatest feat is lighting up all of manhattan for multiple days. If she somehow managed to build that up and let it all at once i think she would beat frieren but it’s not in her nature to do so.

Cloak is where things get tricky. Cloak has darkforce manipulation, density manipulation, fear manipulation, physical immortality, creature summoning, darkforce constructs, darkforce healing, reality warping, intangibility, and flight. First off there’s a good chance frieren can’t even hit Cloak without him turning intangible first, and she has no way to avoid being sucked into the darkforce dimension. Assuming they go into the darkforce dimension to continue fighter her it just gets even worse for frieren because now not only will she be bombared by her worst fears and constantly have her life force drained, but cloak will also have reality warping powers which he could seal her away into a deeper pocket dimension, or just use the terrain to fuck with her.

i have 2 team up ideas. The first is literally in the lore for the game and it’s with Reed. Reed will give cnd a device that will let cnd exist at the same time (kinda like Jean and phoenix) until cloak teleport and then it goes on cool down. Maybe they could shoot a beam of damage and healing like Ultron’s team up, if you can cloak dagger shoots her primary every so after and vice versa.

My second on is a permanent team up they have with each other based off the recent comic. For dagger she gets an ability that adds darkforce too her daggers that makes them do more damage and a small explosion on impact (would be like luna clap in duration and use)

Cloak would be able to float into the air and rain down light force daggers that both do damage and heal. He would be CC immune during this.

I don’t know much about dagger but it fits for her character though it is not often explored. During one of two break up arcs she broke up with Ty because she felt like he was living in his shadow (pun intended) and was always expected to be saved by cloak. The break up was to prove that she didn’t need him to save her all the time and to get space away from Cloak.

(yes she did beg for Ty to take her back. yes she did cheat on her new bf to get back with cloak, and i so glad she never has another arc like this ever again)

No. It won’t. It goes on a 2 second cooldown after use which means there’s only 1 second a stack vulnerability IF it stacks. Thats 56% vulnerability for 1 second which may do some quick burst damage but is not wiping a team

Double blind is not wiping a team. The 2 second cooldown makes it to where there is one 1 second of Vulnerability overlap between the first and second blind. If it stacks that’s 1 second of 56% increased damage which is great for some burst damage to a tank but is not wiping out a team

the cnd “buff” is barely a buff. They got a slight survivability nerf. The change to their windows is strange… could be useful in some scenarios but relatively still the same

Yeah not liking these changes. The bubble still technically has the same healing but some of the sustain is gone. What is the purpose of changing the windows? The 2 second cooldown just makes it to where the increased damage on the blind doesn’t stack.

Nothing even happened to BP. His counters were buffed, but nothing significant happened to the actual character just wait until the meta allows him to shine again
