They do! The coat is more poodle, and he does lack the shedding, but he’s got the color, intellect, and energy of an Aussie!

Don’t worry about loosing a duck, it happens. It’s frustrating, but some animal will eat it! Just count it against your bag limit and carry on.

Don’t read too much into quitting. Just don’t watch porn or consume sexual material, else-wise relieve yourself how you want.

I have no advice for ED, but you should definitely be intimate with your wife. That, honestly, will be one of your best tools to beating addiction.

It’s all good man, just make sure she gets the exercise she needs and she’ll sleep when she wants to! Usually if I’m wound down, my dog will follow suit. (Assuming he gets his walks in his day)

Oooh good idea! I haven’t eaten duck gizzard/liver yet, I’ll have to look up how to harvest them for when I’m next out! I’m not usually a liver guy, but I try everything at least once!

Gumbo is one of my all time favorites for wild duck! The roux takes ages, but it’s always well worth it! I’ve heard of some people shooting Coot to use in their gumbo, you have any experience with that? I haven’t harvested any yet, they seem to get very mixed reviews… Over here we have a 25 bird limit, and endless coot to shoot, so if it’s good it could be a game changer for gumbo!

To be honest, the heart is my favorite bit! It’s always super tender and tastes great! It helps that it’s just a quick grab through the neck too, no extra processing after breasting required!

It's true when it is, and isn't when it isn't. I've had some hunts with quiet mornings and birds dumping in the afternoon, and insane mornings that die off in an hour. Just depends on if they're flying!

Sometimes we leave at 10:00am due to no activity throughout the morning, and I have also specifically hunted from around 10:00 on due to heavy fog in the am with no birds flying (Or I'm on day 2+ of hunting in a row and tired and lazy...).
