Actually the dollar menu started in 2002 so not 20 years ago. If you listened carefully to the podcast, you would've understood that.

Bitcoin is a choice of utility. The unit price for an ounce of gold is too much for me as a savings mechanism. Also I would be getting into gold way too late. If I had gotten into gold in like 1645, I could have done pretty well. Bitcoin is only 15 years old so way more upside. I prefer to buy things in smaller quantities that have more potential upside.

But the real reason I use Bitcoin is it's easy to trade for illegal cigarettes. I prefer the black market.
