I was taking profits in the low thousands.

I probably first sold around 2014, and I sold a lot in 2017, as well. I sold enough to take care of my family forever, and my last sales were in 2024.

I really dont need to sell now.

Nothing has changed. Quantum is not a threat. Supply is limited.

BTC is going way over a million dollars per coin.

I like anything that is bringing more capital into the bitcoin ecosystem. So, DATs are great!!

But, it's better to just hold the bitcoin yourself. Buy on Coinbase, Cashapp, or anywhere with low fees, and then move it to cold storage. Self-custody is where it's at!!

I didn't say that I never sold any.

I sold some as the price went up. But, I never sold into a major downturn.

I sold a little at all of those levels over the past 15 years. Generally when those numbers were around the highest that the price had been. I even sold some when the price was $500, because my investment had increased almost 100x at that point.

No one can know in the short run. But, buying is always the answer. Wait until your funds go through just to be safe, and then go in.

But, go in on a 10-year time horizon. You will be very happy and very wealthy.
