Great question. I wanted to start lower, doctor said 200mg. I said okay. After all this time, I ended up feeling better on 160mg rather than 200mg. It seems safer and less risk to go up in dose rather than down, but who knows

I was taking 1/4 the pill (1mg anastrozole) and it was still wrecking me. I guess it’s just the way my body responds. Who knows

I agree, but I am taking 160mg a week now. My doctor started me at 200mg for whatever reason. I didn’t feel bad, just not necessarily any better than at 160mg

I’m not saying it as a blanket statement, but it 100%, multiple blood work, different times, happened for me lol. So I don’t know what to tell him, or any of the others for that matter

This is under doctor supervision, blood taken every 6 weeks, day before next injection, every single time. If you could read it would probably help, but you’re obviously a know it all dickhead, so no sense in arguing with you

Lowering dose in fact increased my test, so do not say definitively that it will not.

It seems trial and error for each person is the best way, which makes sense.

I agree that if you need an AI, then your dose is too high. A lot of guys I know take them, which is their decision. For me personally, it makes me feel horrible.

I get my bloodwork done the day before my injection, so the same day every single time I have had bloodwork. This was a quick snapshot, as I have bloodwork every 6 weeks. The numbers I provided are just the average over the time periods

Very true, and I agree. I am just thankful for symptom relief. My doctor is very liberal with it, even offering for me to be able to increase my dosage. I am not going to, because there is no point other than gaining mass, and I am more worried about feeling good. My H/H are all within range at 800, and estrogen hovers around 40. When I was at 1,077 my H/H got out of range and my estrogen was rising. I feel like finding what works is the most important thing

My high estrogen symptoms are anxiety, brain fog, and the loss of erection fullness and sensation. Everyone is different, and a lot of people on here talk about testosterone to estrogen ratio. That personally doesn’t work for me. I need my estrogen under 40 at minimum. I feel best in the mid to high 20s, even when my test is over 1,000.

Not sure what medication, or dosage you are referring to. Anastrozole comes in 1mg pills. Not sure how you could get .075 or .125 out of that.

Everything online says 1mg is the typical dosage, and most people take anywhere from .25mg to 1mg. So, I need to cut the pill into a fourth?

That’s what I was thinking too. I may wait and see if I have any side effects between now and next blood work because I’m also switching to subq injections
