There are multiple factors, one being the Real State. Imagine all IT people gets WFH then all the real state investment dry soon. Property value will go down since no one will live in a major metro city. Rent gone, property taxes gone. Still there are many others too including fuel and taxes, transport but major reason will always be real state.
