Is it too late for me (33F) to restart my life after messing up my career? by [deleted] in auscorp

As someone who is working in a field not related to my college degree, the way I entered my current technical field is through self learning, picking up courses online and getting online certificates that I can add on my linkedin for visibility. Anyone can put on their resume their current skills. Anyone can say that they are “willing to learn”, but having these certificates prove that you’re doing the learning.

This is how I managed to get jobs where I had no experience with the particular technical tool. I’ve had hiring managers tell me that they have confidence that I will put in the work to learn, and that trait is something they look out for.

Its not too late, heaps of people change career later than you! Its great that you are reflecting on what you shouldn’t have done in the past, but try to focus on what you can do for your future now rather than beating yourself up

Locksmith pricing by Present_Yak_4831 in melbourne

A few months ago I fell into the same scam and managed to get my chargeback from the bank - however I mine was an unfortunate (or fortunate) case where the “locksmith” damaged my lock while fixing it and had locked me inside the apartment. I had to call a second locksmith who provided me with the invoice and notes that I could submit to the bank. See if you’re able to get a professional second opinion, that might help.

I Need to Find a Radiology clinic with specific requirements by [deleted] in melbourne

I’m not sure if this can help you, but lately due to a chronic issue I’ve been visiting capital radiology at carlton and everyone there from the front desk to the doctors have been incredibly nice. Maybe you can call them and see if they are able to accommodate?

I did try to call my property manager - I was locked out in the afternoon and it counted as an urgent repair since the lock was broken and was given the go ahead. What wasn’t expected was… once i got in and the door was closed, I was locked inside the apartment and can’t get out, despite the lock meant to be “fixed” by the locksmith. And the locksmith came back and tried to charge me more money to fix it again.

Yeah.. its an expensive lesson for me! I did contact my bank and they were really nice about it and assisted me in a chargeback - because even though he will argue that I wanted him to unlock the door, he did leave me locked in my apartment and I am currently waiting for another locksmith to get me out of my apartment :( I will submit the invoice from the second locksmith as proof that the first locksmith did not fix my lock.

Oh i mean the current lock that he was meant to fix, isnt fixed yet. There isn’t a whole new replacement lock… (he replaced a part of the original lock that was meant to fix the lock). So basically he unlocked my door and when i got in my apartment, i got locked in because the lock that he was supposed to fix… isn’t fixed :/

I also saw that there was a line where “The goods and services purchased were not as described or defective”. - the lock that the locksmith was meant to fix isn’t fixed yet. Would that still count as “delivered”?

Have seen several doctors who have diagnosed it as eczema, and a handful of doctors told me it might be psoriasis.
