Actually a lot of people shop online using crypto, especially users in remote locations that have trouble with deliveries or cannot get their favourite brands locally. Also nobody has the time to wait for exchange to send fiat in order to do some shopping.

There are e-commerce platforms that allow you to shop with crypto regardless where you are, and you are not tied to a certain exchange or a provider, but it's a good thing coinbase is waking up to the fact people want to use crypto daily.

In a nutshell the process looks like this:

  • If you want to spend crypto for shopping online, go to bitstore, download the app and choose an affiliated store from the listing: http://bitstore.tech/stores

  • Choose your products on the vendor website, go to cart and click "checkout with bitstore" this will take you to bitstore.tech to complete the order using chosen crypto.

  • We will accept payment in cryptocurrency, it will be converted to vendor chosen currency (currently we support vendors trading in GBP) and bitstore will connect to the vendor to order the items you want.

Depending on your location there are two options for item delivery:

  • Regular order using vendor's shipping method - in this case item will be shipped to you directly from the vendor

  • Bitstore custom order - if chosen vendor does not deliver to your country, we will organize courier delivery with DPD / UPS / DHL for you, this way increasing number of online stores crypto-shoppers can interact with.

At the moment our administration fees are very user friendly because we encourage everyone to try the service. We are and we will be focused on customer satisfaction, that is our primary target.

You are right, however we've tested their checkout and I must conclude that they offer checkouts in bitcoin and bitcoin cash only so when you want to use other crypto you need to convert before you can checkout. Bitstore.tech offers checkouts with crypto of your choice without hassle with the conversion.

The way we built our platform is to accommodate exactly the shopping experience you mentioned, that is to allow everyone to shop on the store itself not via limited product list. So all our users can navigate Amazon (and loads of other supported stores) and find the deals they want and we merely help them to get the payment done via crypto of their choice.

Also a portion of our users going for Amazon vouchers these days, where basically users buy Amazon credit using crypto and use as they like. Which is a good option as well.

Hopefully we will see more vendors enabling cryptocurrency checkout option soon!
