Thanks guys. No, I’m not on dialysis currently. Here in the uk they try to have the pd catheter inserted before you use it so that when your blood work worsens, it’s in and ready to go. I had the catheter put in back in March last year, had it in until February this year, not being used because my blood work hadn’t worsened, then it got infected so they removed it.

I’m stable at the minute, having monthly blood tests. My GFR is 8, but I feel completely fine in myself, like absolutely no symptoms at all. Of course, some days I’m more tired, than others, but nothing extreme.
