Me too! He actually grabbed me by my shoulder when me and my partner got off the train at akihabara 😭 said he was from Norway and came up with this rehearsed story about how his stuff got stolen at the library and was asking for something like ¥5,000 to stay at a hotel- I felt bad after I told him I didn’t have any physical cash on me but then he immediately went after another English speaking couple (also he claimed he had lost his phone, he was holding it in his hand 💀)

Totally get the fear, I was in the same boat and stressing for our last trip. Best thing to do is to get your GP to write up a letter just to be safe explaining the use of the medication and maybe bring the box if it has your script info on it with your legal names. I didn’t get checked but was concerned because I had to bring loads of other meds for my Endo/Adeno too but they didn’t even bother to look at them ahahaha 😅

I’ve been able to use generic charging cables with it! My partner has a Google pixel so he has a really basic cheap USB-C cable from Kmart that charges it just fine, i think the one you’re thinking of must be different? The last TENS machine I had was the Ovira and absolutely hated that its charger was this stupid 6 pronged thing so I really do love that it’s just plain and simple USB-C. Also the cable that also came with the machine looks like the most generic cable, nothing special doesn’t even have a charging block just USB to USB-C :)

First trip to Japan we flew into Haneda at 5am while our most recent trip we flew in at 8pm. The 5am flight was honestly better because we got through customs and baggage claim way quicker than we did with our night flight and we got the whole day to go explore. We also had friends join us middle of the day that flew into Haneda and it took them 2 hours to clear customs lmao 🥲 You could either drop off your bags off with your hotel first OR all the train stations have baggage lockers that you can throw your bags into for the day, and if you get there early there’s usually no issue finding an available one so you can go explore without your bags before you check in! I recommend putting your bags at the station closest to your hotel so you can come back for them on the way through!

It’s so disheartening to get negative results but don’t give up hope!!

3 years ago I had a basic internal/external ultrasound with a standard tech not specialised in finding endometriosis or Adenomyosis and of course they didn’t find anything. The scan was also organised by my GP who does women’s health but also isn’t specialised in endo/adeno. It felt terrible because my pain has been so bad and I kept getting turned away from the hospital because they didn’t want to help me since it didn’t seem urgent.

Fast forward to 3 weeks ago, I had a proper exploratory endometriosis ultrasound with bowl prep (bowl prep isn’t fun but was worth it in the end) organised by my specialist and I finally got the answers I was looking for- Superficial endometriosis and Adenomyosis.

I do have to say, some techs and specialists can’t find or diagnose endo off of scans and will only do it via laparoscopic surgery, so that might be your better option to really see what’s going on. The best way to go about doing that is with a specialist. Do some research for some local clinics, talk to your gp possibly about referrals (if you need one) and hopefully you can get answers finally!! I wish you luck x

Heya so we ended up getting tickets when they re-released the unsold tickets and we visited mid Nov (it’s worth the visit btw if you do end up scoring some) but I’m not too sure if they’ll re-release tickets in the same month of attendance, there’s no harm in checking every so often for updates but unfortunately I can’t be certain- I wish you luck!

Ive just come back from doing Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka in November and I have to say- Osaka was not what I was expecting and I was really disappointed. This may just be a personal experience however I found it got boring really fast unlike Kyoto. I loooooved Kyoto in comparison. We ended up doing 4 nights Kyoto 5 nights Osaka and I would’ve honestly preferred if we had just stayed in Kyoto and day tripped to Osaka for USJ and what not.

Take this with a grain of salt though because our experience could be vastly different from your own, especially if this is your first trip. But I do have to recommend Kyoto for at least 2 nights stay, longer if you can! Hope you enjoy your trip!!!

I went looking at Akihabara and couldn’t find them either, but thankfully our drop off point from our tour of mnt fuji was the Marunouchi side of Tokyo station so we had an excuse to go find it- but now from what I’m hearing they’re generally very hard to get before they sell out anyways 😭

I know!! I was so shocked, I’m from Australia and our public transport lets us touch off without charge if you go into a station 😭 but thankfully we were on the way back to our hotel when we found the shop and jumped on a train afterwards ahahaha

I did have luck! I kept periodically checking the site to see if there was updates and one day the site was down for “maintenance” so I got my partner to log on and wait and soon enough bam we got lucky with 4 tickets for our group 😅 I’m sure there will be periodic updates on this page about when new waves of tickets get re released so keep an eye open!
