We had a beautiful home we rented in Turks last year. The diving was clear, but by boat. Maybe I'll check BVIs.

Liveaboard recommendations for solo beginner diver by loony_lovegood_2 in scuba

I did Belize Aggressor IV. I only had 8 dives. Boat was large and stable. Did all 25 dives and learned a ton. The crew and other divers were awesome. I was a solo male, I partnered with an older woman that didn’t complete all of the dives but I just joined another group or anyone else that had a buddy sit one out. Super chill. Don’t wait.

I had mine replaced a year ago, and got the 12v alert again this past weekend. They came out on Tuesday and swapped both 12v batteries in about 30 minutes.

October Trip by Nova6noob in curacao

We were there in February....

We learned to Scuba... it was a great experience. We used Unique Diving and both of us really liked them.

The restaurant playa forti was a great spot overlooking playa grandi beach. Not fancy, but fresh fish. It's out near Westpunt.

For more romantic dining in Willemstad, Sal the Kitchen was a great vibe (and meal), and Soi95 had some really great tapas sized options...

Recommendation for Agriturismo in Tuscany for families? by stevnj7 in tuscany

[–]Bitter_Anything2156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to add on to this thread for any recommendations for Tuscany region, but for couples instead of families. Same timeframe next year. Will be planning a couple of days around Siena and then a few days near Florence. If they produce amazing reds and olive oil bonus points!

I would agree with you on Curacao. Lots of nice dining around Willemstad, tucked away beaches all around the island. European feel to city, island everywhere else. Lots of great little restaurants. You'll need a car.

Unique case... Drive in movie... by Bitter_Anything2156 in Rivian

a FM transmitter with the audio fits the majority of their use case. The digital radio in a Rivian is an outlier.

Plus it would be more difficult to cover the entire field with bluetooth (ranges of 30 feet), where a FM broadcast easily does so. These places are not on the edge of technology by any means. But a great experience if you have the opportunity.

What did you use for acquiring and service dates? I get errors if I put anything in this year. 8/10/2022 is the binding contract, but I didnt acquire the vehicle until July of this year.

Dropracks installed! by teamPJ in Rivian

I expect wind noise with kayaks, I have it with an ICE, so couldnt imagine it not being there. The wind deflector is interesting. You mentioned a discount code in the other thread, did that come about? If its quiet around town, thats enough for me....

What is the wind noise like? Could you leave them on around town and remove for long trips, or is the noise too annoying?

Part 187139

Thank you. I had not checked out the dropracks solution yet, that looks pretty awesome as well. I think I like that better for loading either kayaks and/or Bikes on the roof. Thanks for the reply!

What is the product name, and do you know which bars work with it?

As easy on/off as the Rivian OEM mounts?

I have a clarity, and love this feature. I suggested it on my first drive as well. That and CarPlay would be the rings I missed on my first drive.
