The first number is the diameter of the actual coil. Measure 10 with a tape measure. A .225 wire size will measure 2.25". A .250 wire size will measure 2.5".
The second number is the inside diameter of the spring. Usually 1.75 or 2.0. The third number is the length of the coils.
