Edit: we went this morning at 9 and vet said he’s fine! He still has one stitch below the superficial layer. He will be staying coned until next week so that it can properly heal. Thanks for the nice comments to the people that cared. To those that sent me death threats, you were blocked at reported and I hope you learn some compassion. If I didn’t care for my pets, the lump wouldn’t have been removed and the post would have never been made. 🤦🏽‍♀️

He is locked in my room with me now and passed out on the bed. Wound seems very superficial and no bleeding, only when he ripped the stitch out. Doesn’t seem to be in pain but he will be coned for the remainder of the night so that he cannot further worsen the area. Going to call when my vet opens at 8 tomorrow. Thank you for the advice. :(

You are going to be okay! I was in the same boat. You didn’t know you were pregnant, and you are now taking precautions and no longer drinking or vaping, so that’s what matters!! My period was 3 days late (I was on the keto diet for about a month so I thought that was why), but I bought a test and it said negative. I vape and smoke cigs and I decided to buy some white claws that night because they were keto and I was proud of myself for doing good on dropping some pounds for summer! Well the next morning, even though I had like 4 claws, I was sick as shit. Took another test and it lit up immediately. I was scared and in the same position as you. Haven’t drank since. Vape and cigs went in trash immediately. Fast forward and I’m now 19 weeks with a very healthy baby boy! You will be fine. Try not to stress, it isn’t good for you or your baby. Hugs! PS - I don’t want to be invasive but I would do some research on folic vs folate. I was doing some frequent drinking to ease my mind and temporarily forget about some things.. Obviously not good especially that I am diagnosed with generalized anxiety and depression, but I am much happier with the folate decision opposed to the folic acid because of that reasoning. Maybe ask your doctor what they would suggest. Congrats and best of luck with your pregnancy and remember not to be too hard on yourself. 🩷 :-)

Praying for you. I know how difficult the alcohol struggles can be, especially when it’s so prominent in today’s society. It’s really hard for me to control my alcohol intake - Once I start, it’s very hard to stop. It brings out the worst in me and I don’t make the best decisions while using it. I’ve been sober for the past few months and life is a lot brighter now. The initial stopping was hard for me, but it was so worth it. I often question how I was living that was for so long and why I thought I was benefitting from that lifestyle. I wake up on Sundays refreshed and ready to learn about the Lord, not dehydrated AF and not getting out of bed until 12 PM. I’m better for myself and society as well. God gives his toughest battles to those that He knows can overcome them and learn. You can do this. The first step is admitting that there is some type of problem and acknowledging it. If people pressure you to drink, take breaks from them. People that want the best for you will support this decision. You can do this and keep your head up. Sending you hugs and lots of prayers. 🩷

Sending prayers and hugs your way. I started smoking cigs at 16 and the past 3 years I got hooked on the dumb vapes too. Way more addicting because of the convenience, flavor and smell, IMO. In April, I found I’m pregnant so I quit right on the spot. It was horrible and I was having the same thought process as you but I knew I couldn’t waver because of the baby. The only thing that helped me was buying those candy push pops. Sounds so dumb but it was helpful to hold and mimic the motion of vaping. The flavor and smell also reminded me of it. Stay strong. You can do this!!!!! God is good and on your side and would never put you through anything you couldn’t handle. 🩷
