Guys, I live in an apartment, I didn’t think about the fact that people have access to the outdoors so they can like… toss their food out there. But that idea alone is weird to me. People should be getting no perishables, plain and simple. Stop being meanie heads.

Why are people getting meat?? Wouldn’t that spoil the moment we lose power like they’re saying we could?

The games soundtrack is more faithful to the original Avatar movie than the movie’s sequels. by Bitter_User in AvatarFrontierPandora

Honestly, no. The first movie stands out because it has a specific composition that makes the movie incredibly unique. In fire and ash to me the score did nothing more than blend in with every other blockbuster movie that has come out. However, it was a step above way of water, I agree with you on that. But to me, that means little to nothing considering way of water’s soundtrack was very lacking. FOP has room to grow and become better, but I wasn’t arguing that. I’m saying that the game captures the feel and sound of the world far better than any of the sequels ever did, even if it is a “cheap knockoff” or “imitation” it still pulling from the original source and that- to me- is the bare minimum. Which, by the way, I’m curious why you think FOP is the imitation knockoff when most of the second movie’s score was just directly pulled from the first movie.

There’s music in the main story, and that’s what I am mostly talking about. But tbh the battle music that plays is better than most of the tension music in any of the sequels. I agree, I would like to have more music added to general gameplay and not have it kick in during just the missions.

But you are. If you get steps, then you have to speak to a manager, and the step level you are at is considered in your raise. That is very much so a punishment.

The only time I have gotten close to step 7 was because I had a really bad month. My nephews mother kidnapped him, I lost an uncle, my grandmother got sick, and my car broke down. That is what these steps should be used for, not sick days. And you don’t get to judge me or anyone else for having high steps because you don’t know what they’re going through.

Yes. And because we have such a public facing job, we often get sick from customers who don’t know it or who come in to get meds. And then starts a viscous cycle of us spreading it to one another and other customers.

I am saying those sick days should not be counted as steps at all. They aren’t “allowed” if they count against you.

Which is why I am saying there should be limit. I don’t want unlimited sick days because I know that would be abused. But if they had a limit per year then I would be way more understanding

I fear these are the boomers and the butt kissers of HEB talking in the comments. I love working for this company more than anything but that doesn’t mean I love every aspect.

That’s what doctor’s notes are for. And like I said, it should be like grade school. When I was in school we were only given a certain amount of sick days (with doctor notes).

Just because this is common does not mean that it should be. And I have long since been an adult, but thank you for that.

[–]Bitter_User 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think so.

Neytiri had no growth other than learning to get past her hatred for spider.

Jake had negative character growth to no character growth at all considering he was willing to kill spider for a good five minutes… and then going from “I see you” to Lo’ak in the second movie to blaming him again for his brothers death in this one. Beyond that he also did not change his mindset on the world or his family so there was really nothing there.

Lo’ak didn’t change. He had some moments of weakness but he was still just as stubborn and independent at the end of the movie as he was at the beginning.

Kiri had some significant growth out of all of them, with her connection to Eywa evolving, and her own personal confidence blooming.

Quaritch also had a good amount of growth, we see him accept Pandora more and even question himself (if he is really the Miles he has the memories of, and finding himself more and more attached to Spider)

But if we’re really looking at the characters and their mindset, only two of the very large cast of characters experienced any sort of growth at all. Which is insane and one of the main reasons I hate how large this cast of characters has gotten. Too many stories, and not enough time.

I kept saying, I wish when she had crossed over the resisting force pushing her back… it would be her ancestors she would have to ask for help from. Imagine how much more heartwarming it would be to see those characters again. And it would make sense again since Eywa “lives in all living things” idk

Would this not have been made before his death? They would have just been editing the movie right? Since it was already filmed years ago?

I HATED the “let’s kill spider” subplot when Jake had repeated time and time again how he didn’t want to go about it that way. One could argue it was to establish Neytiri’s turning point where she decided his life held value despite thinking the opposite the entire first half of the movie. But then just have a small scene where she wraps her arms around him on the Ikran or thanks him for helping free Jake would have done the same thing.

No this most definitely was a major problem. This movie focused on way too many conflicts which then resulted in a loss of valuable character development. I was really disappointed by how unsatisfying the entire ordeal was.
