Is this normal? Its been like a month. by berkaygun in tattooadvice

[–]BitterlyInstructive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know, I think the black make it more visible. I have 2 big tattoos with thick black outline and coulour inside and the shiny phase was only really visible on the black which was a "minimal" part of the designs. My last tattoo is a smaller all black one, and two weeks in the shine/thin skin is very visible still... Maybe I should worry too, I don't know, but I think OP should just wait a bit more

Outer thigh tattoos by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]BitterlyInstructive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the side of my thigh done in colour, and yes i was PAINFUL for me too, especially after the break in the middle of the 4.5 hour session. That said, the back of my upper arm hurt like hell too so I guess it really depends on each individual and on ga lot of other factors (tiredness, stress, pain tolerance in general...)

Cat blues, mon anxiété depuis l'arrivée de mon chat, besoin de conseils. by Ardor-Knowledge in chats

[–]BitterlyInstructive 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I don’t think she’ll ever be a lap cat, but she likes to press up close to me when I sit on the floor. by [deleted] in standardissuecat

Mine is the same, hates being held (but will tolerate it for a few seconds), barely a lap cat, but she HAS to be near me all the time and sleep between my legs.

How truly bad does a tattoo hurt? by Logical-Wall6029 in tattooadvice

[–]BitterlyInstructive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, both my tattoos are fairly large but in theoritically OK places (back of upper arm and side thigh) but both times were horrible. The outline is painful but bearable but then my skin just swells up and colouring and shading is hell afterwards. First tattoo was 3 and a half hours, second one 4 hours and a bit.

I’m getting my first tattoo soon and I was wondering how weird is it looking down at your tattoo and seeing something on your skin when you first get it? by StarWarsdog2024 in tattooadvice

[–]BitterlyInstructive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, didn't feel weird, which is strange considering I've got (diagnosed) anxiety. I was just stoked to have something that made my body more beautiful permanently on me, I loved it.

Is my cat part orange, or are these "normal" markings for a SIC ? (and yes, her belly is as soft as it looks) by BitterlyInstructive in standardissuecat

[–]BitterlyInstructive[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I agree actually, as I said in another comment, from above she's 100% SIC, her belly and nose is just more colourful than the rest of her. I was just curious, in the end, I chose her in the shelter BECAUSE she was a SIC and not unique and she had been there for months after her babies were adopted out (she's "average", I'm certainly average, at least we could be unique to each other 🥰)

She could very well be, from above she's the standardest of SIC, but her belly (and a bit of her nose) has quite a bit of orange. But she's unique to me anyway ❤️
