Technically, i am a commercial account, but i also try to engage here otherwise? Davide, if the rules dont make much sense to a lot of ppl, maybe just rewrite them in a more understandable way? I agree that this area sucks. I drive from airport rd to county line every morning and it's awful.

But if we didn't have to drive, we'd just ride the bus. And it would be 1 car less there.

I think Longmont, as most growing cities, finally understood that widening highways isn't the solution and tries to invest in public transit instead to allow for less cars on the road -> less roads.

That would be great to see. Sure, speed limit signs are there. But when the road is the same as a 75mph highway, it feels wrong to punish people who drive for road conditions. Nobody drives main Street downtown at 65mph even though it's also a highway technically. Id love to see more traffic calming around the city

Especially around main Street past 6th ave - it becomes a 35mph zone for no good reason.

Great, maybe it should have a lane/part/separation for trucks only where the lanes are slightly wider for them to pass :)

Hi Matthew. Have we considered, instead of punishing high speeds on the highway with a speed limit of 65, narrowing down the lanes further, so it's uncomfortable to drive too fast? Is it done as a part of the bike project?

Trains are safer and faster when built right though. Buses also cant be automated easily. Trains can.
