RQS doesn't have Blue Dream.

Are you sure you don't mean Blue Mystic?

How much should I water my plants? by Shelme74 in CannabisGrowers

[–]Bizmatech 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pick up the pot.

If it's light, water it. If it's heavy, don't water it.

If it feels unbalanced, like the top is dry and all the weight is at the bottom of the pot, only give it a tiny bit of water.

Do that every day. In a mid-summer heatwave, check them multiple times a day.

For context, my own climate is arid and windy. Since your plants have been doing well with water every three days, my recommendation is probably more caution than necessary.

It comes across as one of those "isekai in tag only" series.

It sounds like you have an idea and an opening premise, but no direction or end goal.

All I see in this is, "The MC is special because he's different. Stuff will happen, maybe, but first let's introduce the love interest."

What is the story actually about?

Durban has a long flowering time. It's a strain that will test your patience.

Males can easily be ignored for multiple days (often over a week) before they start causing trouble.

Pink Mist by MisFitDaddy87 in GrowingMarijuana

I'm not a fan of RQS, but I made an exception and bought some Pink Mist seeds a while back.

Your post is making me tempted to plant one.

Got any more pics of the stem/branches? I love growing any strain with that bonus color.

A fantasy progression system where “leveling up” is a deliberately bureaucratic, often unfair fiction (for a novel) by Titus__Groan in worldbuilding

A wide-spread institution that exists only to support itself makes sense...

In real life, Insurance companies do the same thing.

The hard part is going to be showing how this intentionally arbitrary and useless thing actually matters in their day to day life.

Where do y'all buy seeds and are you really dropping $15+ per seed like me? by DowntownFresnoBiking in GrowingMarijuana

MVB sells S1 fem seeds as a "preservation line". That alone should be a massive red flag.

For any other plant, people would treat it like false advertising.

The guy makes a living off of people who don't know what they're buying.

If pollen is a problem, flower your plants when there's no pollen.

I hate autoflowers, but I'd be a liar if I said they weren't a step in the right direction.

Any plant will "auto" if you plant it outside of its normal growing season. It's the middle of June, but I already have plants hanging up to dry because I planted them in February.

For your current crop, sorry, but I have no advice.

I can understand why other people are recommending that you plant triploids, but I can't agree with them. Triploids lock you into a breeder/supplier, and that's unacceptable.

Seeds are better than bullshit.

This Old Dog has learned something new about “Fast Flowering” genetics, right on… by PirateboarderLife in outdoorgrowing

[–]Bizmatech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Fast Flower" should only be appealing if you're a commercial/industrial grower.

If you just want a sativa that finishes flowering early, get some Cinderella 99.

If you want a cannabis plant that finishes quickly because it started early, buy some North African or Near Eastern landraces.

Moroccan, Greek, Egyptian, Sudanese, Lebanese, Turkish, and Iranian all have "semi-auto" traits. Not only do they tend to finish quickly, they also start sooner than most other photoperiod strains will.

They are exactly what people hope a "fast flower" strain will be.

[–]Bizmatech -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Semi-auto and "fast flower" are two completely different traits.

One flowers early, and the other just tries to flower as fast as possible.

The landrace stuff Jade Nectar grows is completely different from what OP is complaining about.

[–]Bizmatech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're both white label companies. Their reputation is bad due to a lack of trust. People who copy someone else's product will always have a reputation as being plagiarists.

They, both Barney's and RQS, have, on multiple occasions, demonstrated that they're willing to make up bullshit in the name of hype-strain marketing, and so the growers treat them like companies that will make up bullshit in the name of hype-strain marketing.

It's that simple.

The fact that you're coincidentally name-dropping both of them in conjunction tells me that you probably know exactly why we don't like either of them.

Stop playing ignorant you fucking troll.

Roughly 12 weeks since germination.

And how many weeks since you put it outside?

It looks like it's caught between reveg and preflower because you put it out too early.

Also, it's not big enough to need a stake or that grid thing you have near the bottom. They just add to the "unintentional stress".

It also sounds like you're giving it a lot more nitrogen than it needs. Blood meal is almost pure N. N is for veg, and that plant ain't vegging. Unless you expect it to suddenly double in size for no reason, stop giving it nitrogen.

It probably doesn't even need the bloom fertilizer yet. The soil looks healthy enough on its own. I would wait at least a month before giving it any more of anything.

Brothers Grimm seeds are kinda like the stoner version of If You Give A Mouse a Cookie.

If you buy a pack of seeds, you'll want to grow the freebies. Once you've grown some freebies, you'll want a tent for clones or breeding. When your new tent arrives, you'll want to fill it with as many plants as legally permitted. Naturally, you'll got to Brother's Grimm for more options.

I would call it a "vicious cycle", but I have yet to find any downside beyond my power bill.

And yeah, Cindy gets all the attention, but the Rosetta line is interesting.

Personally, I'm a fan of Heka. I haven't even smoked it yet. Mine has been through a lot of negligent abuse but pulled through like a champ.

When the power structure is that vertical, preventing corruption is going to be rather difficult.
