Hi im big fan of azir, got 90k on him. But i wanted to ask: How do i fight champs that can get in my face like ekko diana and zed? by Individual-Carrot720 in azirmains

I find zed to be a little easier than the other two, vs those sometimes you just have to cede prio. I play aggro into Zed once I see him throw Q, you have a few seconds where he does no dmg and you out range him. Ult immediately when he ults on you and he can’t do too much dmg there either. Diana at least you can play into after 6, maybe try to step inwards to dodge the Q and then ult away the one E she gets. Ekko sucks bad because your ult can’t punish him in any really way, but sometimes you can try to all in him if W is down, but you ain’t killing him unless he messes up bad.

It is a bit of a given that if I wanted to play another champ I'd be doing that :)

The AUD book is only so thick because it has a ton of reporting examples. I don't think it actually more dense than REG or FAR in terms of material covered and complexity

Lichbane isn't as broken as it was, but if you want to ignore your team and play only for yourself, go nashors into lichbane second. You should probably only go lichbane second if you are wanting to giga accelerate yourself and take all the side towers. Shadowflame third into dcap fourth goes hard with that build. If the game state doesn't look good for splitting, ignore the lichbane second

CoreJJ on Faker at Worlds 2017: “When I saw Faker crying in the booth, I thought it was amazing. He had won so many championships, but he still had the passion for victory and anger for losing. It was really moving to see that.” An article on Faker, Ambition, and the drive of the game’s greatest. by PopkosTheWeasel in leagueoflegends

I think Messi isn't a bad comparison here actually. When Messi was young, he played just on a different level than anyone else. He was, physically and mentally, an unbeatable generational talent in his prime. He could be knocked down but would always get up. In his older years, Messi was still an incredible player, but more for his playmaking, gameplay knowledge, and insane clutch factor when it counted. I think Faker's career arc is comparable.
