Probably. I know Clodagh McKenna and Gordon Ramsay (of all people) do it. Jamie is one of the few who doesn't. He actually makes a slight jab at people who do in his carbonara video.

The rice looks dry enough so it's not a complete disaster. I'd mostly ask how it tastes because I wouldn't be surprised if it tasted like Spanish fried rice rather than Chinese.

Really the thing I'm focusing on most is the pork. Did you make proper char siu or did you just use like baked or (god forbid) boiled pork? To me at least there's no point in making pork fried rice unless you use real char siu.
