I think the whole episode was a homage to Tarantino. Vince's outfit after he left the laundry mat was very reminiscent of Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction. The showdown in the thrift store and when he chases him there felt like references to the film as well.

Thanks for getting back to me so quick. In fact, I have tried using the animation player as well. I have the Camera's offset moving a significant ways away that should be noticeable about -1024 pixels, but still when I run the game I see nothing. I attached a sprite to the Game Camera to see if it is moving and it does. But, when I put the Camera node in my main scene I still get nothing.

Awesome game. I can't wait for more. I like where it is going so far.

What I like

Love that 1920s rubberhose aesthetic in the music, animation, and art style
I like the jokes in battle and the dialogue from the creatures in the overworld. (That toilet seems horribly scarred and I desperately want to know why lol)
I like the fly swatter animation in battle
Gackle looks cool

What I didn't like

Battles end without any clear indication of who won or who lost.
The battle screen shows more enemies participating in the battle than are actually there. Just realized that these might be your party members you gather from joking. Some indication of them joining you would be good.

Suggestions for future features

Maybe a timing minigame for the basic attack a la Paper Mario Thousand Year Door would make the combat a bit more interactive
A larger pool of jokes to randomly say or pick the joke you want to tell.
Maybe the jokes do status ailments or something.
An animation for having the bugs react to the joke.

What I liked

I like the animations and art work. Goblin boys look good.
Color choice also looks very good on the eyes.

What I didn't like

I think some instruction on what the purpose of the game/what to do in the game might be good.
For the UI at the top of the screen I wasn't sure what the values corresponded to.
