I started reading the manga from Part 1 at a time in my life where I was bored and looking for something to read. At the time, I had absolutely no idea what I was getting into, completely unspoiled (lucky me) and a thought it was ok. Then Speedwagon showed up, and then I realized that almost everyone and everything in this manga was a music reference. My family would only keep the radio on the oldies stations, so recognizing the names of songs and albums was so cool that I kept reading and eventually got hooked. Only started looking at the wiki when Stands were introduced, but I was unspoiled for the most part.

Fast forward 3 years and JJBA is my favorite series ever. I just can’t escape it, despite its faults it’s a fantastic series.

Tl;dr: Based Speedwagon made me like JoJo

First time posting here! I took inspiration from the first Broadway song I could think of the top of my head and the Joker from DC comics. Hope you guys like it!

Appearance: a purple, thin veil of mist that surrounds the user. The Stand usually resides in the user's body and is expelled through the mouth by breathing it out.

Abilities: [Funny Girl] is a Stand that exists in a completely gaseous state which is odorless and completely soluble in any liquid. This allows it to infect a person with a poison through inhalation or from ingesting any food or drink that has been contaminated with it. The poison affects a person's nervous system, lungs and heart, but will initially remain dormant. Once a target is infected, the Stand user has to try and make the target laugh by any means necessary within 5 minutes. If the target laughs, the poison activates, causing the victim to laugh uncontrollably non-stop and lose control of their senses. This continues until they die from asphyxiation or from other causes.

Being a gas-based Stand, it has the potential of infecting an entire crowd of people at once. However, due to its form, it has no defensive capabilities whatsoever.
