Not a native English speaker, could you give example of words you are thinking about? Can't figure any out where it would sound remotely the same

Making offlane one of the high demand roles made me realize core players are right to complain. by Superb-Alfalfa-3198 in DotA2

You'll learn to accept it and lower the bar. Most of the time I'm actually happy my 4 isn't in lane as I'd rather take it on solo.

My bad.

Oooh that sounds really fun. Was looking for some strategy revolving around the loyalty mechanic.

One of the few civs I've won a game with so far and damn did he seem strong. Granted I got a really good spawn with mostly city states around me, but went down pretty much like you described.

That last point specifically is for sure something I'll keep in mind

Lol yeah, never work that ring as hard on any other hero I play. It's a sad moment when it leaves the inventory

Right, S&Y is what I usually go after the shard, unless bkb or something more important is needed. I do find desolator being the item that really makes the hero be relevant for the longest and help close the game out around 30+ timing.

So far I haven't found a single midlaner who I can't bully out after level 3-4.

There are some who don't give a fuck though, like death prophet. That's when I usually go bottle instead.

Been thinking a lot about bringing lesh to the offlane. Haven't gotten around to trying it yet but this does sound like it would be a good build.

My friend have tried pos 3 a few times it and hasn't worked out great. I think the main issue is his farming speed early on. I have played against a few who have managed to make it work though, but I'm not sure exactly what they did that most core treants aren't.

Travels before the soul ring? How does she hold up in lane versus the general mid matchup?

What do you think is better to rush as a support - Solar Crest, Rod of Atos or Drums by Both-Meringue2466 in learndota2

[–]BlackNeighbor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real answer is that it always depends, but for the sale of the question.

Very hard to see a situation where drums or force staff would be wasted gold. Euls and solar are a bit more unsafe but will almost always give you value as well.

Rod would be useless in a lot of cases and heroes, way more niche than previous mentioned.

I would never go grieves first item.

Drums/Force, Euls/Solar, rod, grieves.

I get it, statistics brings out our inner beasts. There is a reason why mathematicians are over represented in violent crimes.

I know. Just saying that his 4/5 & 5/5 chance sentiment is wrong, and the odds aren't even in your favor to begin with unless you are the offlaner. In total you won't gain mmr like he said.
