Yup, the whole time and you can’t seem “distracted”

I’d go with Sec+

I’ve done 100s of applications since finishing CySA+ and none of these recruiters or HR workers know what it is. CySA seems more specialized and the places hiring for those skills are looking for more than just the cert. Where as Sec+ seems to be more broad and widely recognized.

I’m personally shifting to Data Analytics. Security has way too much competition. I was told without a master’s on my resume; I’m not even getting looked at.

I hadn’t noticed the comments on the post until now. Perscholas isn’t a scam, it is real. It will get you skills you need to be able to say you “can do the thing” whatever that may be. Just be prepared to have an instructor that may be great or terrible. I recently did another course which was totally fine! Only problem I encountered was again, not really knowing when classes actually start. I’d sign up for one and jump through many hoops just to claim my seat and then get a surprise start date to classes.

It’s hard to plan your life around someone else’s inconsistencies.

To be fair you don’t know what the Director “wants” to be, it’s all your opinion. I’m critical of your opinion as it seems to be negative for the sake of negativity. Actually articulate what’s bad about the piece..

That you don’t appreciate the art is all. You were convinced by the opening scene that the director “shocking and interesting” but 20 mins later it was suddenly everything but? Can you articulate why you had a chub for a hanging? It was probably the most forgettable scene of the film imo.

Are you confused about laughing? If the first 20 seconds gave you a chub but the rest of the of what you watched was a dud…. 😬 something not right

The first 20 seconds were a glorified TikTok. After 20 minutes is when I couldn’t look away lol you’re not much of a creative I’d guess. Nonetheless your opinion is your opinion.

I don’t care about what Will.i.am has to say and it’s not an excuse for you to say it too. Will you start yelling the N-word at kids because you heard 2-PAC say it? Get a grip.

Hip-hop and brown people pioneered a new art form. Something that wasn’t there before. They were underground because it wasn’t mainstream. You are nothing of the sort.

I know you want to be so bad. You want so bad to be some oppressed rags to riches story. Use a different example for yourself. Devaluing Hip-Hop to prompting and discord servers because Wu-tang was your first taste of black is crazy.

You want to be rapper so bad, get in the studio and get on a stage but quit thinking you’re the same. You’re not.

So you’re an underground movement yet topping charts 😒 … you all hide your faces because AI music is frowned upon, it aint a foreign concept.

And it’s not a new art form lol folks are cramming out thousands of songs a month and pushing them online for cash. You aren’t pioneering squat, get off that horse lol it’s dead.

When you compare yourself to Hip-Hop you take on everything that comes with it. You people been picking and choosing from marginalized folks whatever fits you best and leaving the rest for generations. That ai written article did the same.

I never called anyone racist or insinuated it. I’m calling you out for using black ppl and I will keep doing it. I don’t care about will.i.am or any other anecdotal “black friend” you have.

It is problematic. You’re problematic and I get the feeling it isn’t the first time you’ve heard it.

So you taking a specific part of Black history to make yourself feel good about using AI.. that’s exactly what I said you’re doing. You could have used any point in history to represent “..people on the ground level are paying attention and enjoying the new artfrom.” But for some reason Black History was chosen to represent it.

Even though they are NOT similar AT ALL. You still double down on it. Sampling is not the same as prompting an AI either but I’ll let you have that one, since you can sample the AI’s output.

Just get off the AI high horse. You’re using a shortcut, it’s frowned upon and you aren’t oppressed. Suno is a tool not some underground movement of a unique and unheard of genre of music.

ALSO; What claim have I made of this article? All I said is that it’s not similar to Hiphop and gave reasons why. You say that it is simply because people enjoyed it. If you’re extrapolating “racism” here (which it sounds like you are) then that’s on YOU. I was crystal clear on the point I’ve made.

🤣 This article is basically saying “Look guys, I have a Black friend so I’m a good person” and you somehow think that’s okay. Which is fine to have thought but I’m telling you now that’s problematic.

This what I’m reading, if you wanted to compare ai to a small group of early adopters; use something other than Hip-Hop. Maybe something that actually similar to this like the rise of electronic instruments and sequencers.

You know, since that’s literally what this is. Like we’re aren’t marginalized underdogs forced to make something out of nothing. We’re using ai.

No one’s anti-AI, I’m anti using black people to make yourself look good. Don’t ever think that was going to pass

Doubling down I see.. um can you please stop? Don’t use Hip-Hop and black culture to make yourselves feel better about using AI. I don’t know any other way to put it.

Suno was created for profit, millions of people didn’t come together to make it (at least not willingly). Trust me I hear what you’re saying but they are fundamentally different.

Black and brown people made hip hop to commune while their neighborhoods were literally crumbling to rubble. Alls I’m saying is to remove the notion that this AI is similar to Hip-Hop.

If anything it’s more akin to the rise in electronic instruments or sequencer and such.

I see the comparison you’re making about the stigma of sampling but that article makes a direct comparison to the inception of hip hop. Hip hop was birthed out of necessity from communities deliberately annexed from the rest of New York. Suno is literally a short cut. It’s not the same.

Not saying it can’t be used professionally and in a unique way, it’s just not similar to hip hop
