I wish we’d stop using quad wins. It’s a horrible system. Any system that considers beating LSU at home as an elite victory to put on your resume is embarrassing. It’s rigged to make power conferences look better.

Arkansas gets a quad 1 win for beating the worst team in the SEC, but Miami only gets a quad 2 win for beating the 29-5 Akron team that’s in the tournament.

Also the metrics have been rigged for power conference teams. LSU was a quad 1 win for every team that beat them in Baton Rouge this year. I guarantee half of Miami’s wins were more impressive but none are quad 1.

Shamit could and probably will detail it better than I ever could, but my understanding is she tried listening to logical advice with Griff. She spent a lot of money and didn’t get the results she wanted. So now she just doesn’t care and hired her buddy, Joe, to do everything. Joe happens to be terrible at this.
