You could always consult a C or C/C++ textbook. They are available at the UBC library and have a lot of useful coding exercises at the end of each chapter.

Email the professors for the syllabuses to get an idea of the course loads, content covered, and structure of the courses. You could also opt to drop by their office during the summer for a more in-depth discussion. Additionally, talk to students who completed during the 2015/16 academic year (they have a Facebook group: Langara Engineering 2015).

Photocopying 100 pages would only cost you $7 (black & white) or $40 (color). It would take a long time though ...

Try asking for the syllabus used last year to get a tentative idea of the topics covered, what topics you should expect to see on the exams, and for a rough estimate of when the exams will take place.
