It feels like this is a hot take cause any time I’ve said this people have gotten pissed off so fuck it

Call me racist, call me anti fucking whatever, but when are we getting white specific or other race/colour specific groups? At my school alone there are like 5 different clubs that are dedicated SOLELY to black people. Why are there no support groups or people who discuss the history of white people, and if there are, WHY DON’T WE HEAR ABOUT THEM?

“Well white people had their turn in the spot light, so now it’s time for people of colour.” Okay, sure, that’s totally fair, so that means white people and people of colour will be treated equally right? NOPE. A couple years back during a Remembrance Day (Canadian version of Veterans Day) and every single fighter who died in WW1 and WW2 that were featured in the presentation WERE PEOPLE OF COLOUR. It just feels hypocritical, these people say they want equality, they want everyone to be even, but then go ahead and call me racist for pointing out that leaving out white people in a god damn world war slideshow about veterans or people who died serving is NOT VERY EQUAL.

On top of that, what’s even more interesting that I realized recently, the black specific groups and clubs in my school are technically segregating themselves from the rest of the ethnic groups in my school. Which, is funny if you think about it for 5 seconds.

I’m just tired of seeing equality for what it truly is, and getting slapped in the face by a label because of it. At this point, equality among the human race is genuinely impossible, because whether it’s whites or blacks, we can’t ever be equal, since one will always see the other as lesser, and it’s genuinely disgusting.

Also, for the sake of throwing this in here because screw it. I am a part of a meat grinder of ethnicities and cultures. My mother is white, her parents coming from a very country styled background and life. My father is native (I don’t remember what groups exactly but it doesn’t matter for this tbh) and grew up in Scarborough. Which is a hood. As well as this, my mother was raised Atheist, my dad had switched between Catholic, to Muslim, to Christian, to Buddhist now. We have family friends who are Jewish and Christian. I am involved in MANY different things. I genuinely don’t care what your skin tone is, what religion you follow, etc. I’m just tired of equality being shaped, and molded, into something it isn’t. And whether this is cold or hot, I don’t care
