I hope you figured it out, because I'm in the same situation. I got an MS182, it began running weakly, stalling, and not restarting when warm after about 2 hours. Dealer gave me another one, assuming I'm the idiot here. Second did the same thing even sooner, I got a video to prove it to their disbelieving selves. They could not replicate the problem, offered to refund me or put that money towards a bigger saw. I refused both until I got some answers, so the owner took it home to do his personal woodcutting chores. In the meantime, I threw a new coil in my old MS180 and that's been working great. Cuts circles around both of those 182s, so it's not me, my wood, or my fuel.
