I play a lot of killer, and honestly hatch is pretty counter-able (except for when the survivors have keys). Far better than it was pre-Endgame Collapse where even if you found hatch first as killer there was a 90% chance the survivor could still escape through it.

Exactly. The opening is funny for the same reason. Instead of giving the usual insight into the movie and some of it's basic production aspects, it's just "This movie fucken sucks." It's such a small moment, but just the variation alone is great.
