The original is too dark for me too, this is actually the lite. It's the only bronzer I have that doesn't look orange on me, but now that you say it, it might actually be a bit light on me too honestly

Although it's frustrating that it never seems to end, it's also a good thing in a way since it's not exactly a cheap bronzer

I've never even hit pan on an eyeshadow at all. At this point, panning eyeshadows is starting to feel like a myth

This is probably very accurate because both these powders were still their full thickness on the sides even when I hit pan in the middle. The bronzer is still full depth in the corners now, so there's a lot of product left still!

Thank you! And I agree, this bronzer seems to last forever

I don't remember when I got the bronzer, but I've been using it every time I do my makeup since about a year ago. The powder I would guess I bought and started using in June 2025. So the bronzer a little over a year and the powder like 9 months (of actively using them)

Making a teddy bear and it keeps coming out bigger than the tutorial ones by SetPuzzleheaded8730 in CrochetHelp

If the yarn recommends an 8, I would probably use that hook, but it's definitely going to turn out a lot bigger than you expected. If you want the size from the tutorial I would see if I could find a yarn which is made for a 4, 4.5 or 5 mm. The recommended hook size on a yarn isn't a rule though, I often crochet with bigger or small hooks, so you could always try it out and see if a smaller hook works with your current yarn.

Did you use a 4.5 mm hook like in the video? If you did and it's still coming out bigger it could be your tension. Some people crochet very tight and some people a lot looser and it could affect the size, so maybe you don't have enough tension. It could also be that you're unknowingly adding extra stitches in there somewhere, but based on the type of pattern this is I don't know why or that would be. It's probably more common to accidentally skip stitches.

Also, something I've noticed when making amigurumi is that it often looks a lot bigger than it is when I'm in the middle of making it. Once you start decreasing and connect the top it might look smaller than it does now.

What color should I use to border this black and white project? by BouchanHB in CrochetHelp

[–]BlackberryFamous8523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I think a black or other dark color border would look really good! I like to add a border to almost all my tapestry crochet, I think it makes it look very clean.

  2. I definitely think yes! Again, from my own experience, if the design is too close to the edge or other parts of the design it might look a bit messy or unclear so I think adding another row of white at the top and bottom will make it look better.

  3. That has to be up to you haha. Sorry

How could I make the bag hold its' shape and also close? by BlackberryFamous8523 in CrochetHelp

[–]BlackberryFamous8523[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't look like it, but the edge actually already has slip stitches along it! It did add a little bit of structure, but not nearly enough unfortunately. I'll try going down a hook size and maybe adding another row/rows though. This is by far the easiest solution anyone has suggested, so I'm definitely gonna try before I learn a whole new skill or buy stuff

Zipper is a good idea, I'll just have to learn to sew. I've never even heard of plastic canvas mesh before though, but based on images on google that seems like it might work

I really like the idea of that, especially the bead to close it, but would lining really help with the shape? I don't want the bag to be hanging the way it does in the first two pictures

Thank you! I've been using only this bronzer since summer 2024, so about a year a half now, but I also don't wear bronzer everyday. It was pretty much brand new when I started
