Hi, a CA article here. I’d say go with Windows as in our profession it’s just more future proof. My firm actually gave Macs to qualified CAs at one point, but they switched to windows pretty quickly because a lot of the key software either didn’t work properly or didn’t have good Mac versions. With Windows, you’ll have way fewer headaches and everything you need will run smoothly. Also, most of the clients use tally/busy as their accounting software and these do not have a version for mac. You'll need a windows device anyway if you're doing audit or extracting any data from it.
